Rudy and I (Katie) were married in 2003 and have two biological children; Lawson (5 ½ yrs old), and Eli (4 yrs old), and two adopted children from Ethiopia; Isabelle (2 yrs old) and Brooklyn (2 yrs old). During our adoption process God broke our hearts for the people of Ethiopia. We have started a non-profit organization called Because of Kennedy to serve the orphaned and vulnerable children and adults of Ethiopia by meeting their basic needs, while leading them in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. In March 2011 Rudy was award a Fulbright Scholarship to teach and conduct research at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia for 10 months. In August 2011 we are moving our family to Ethiopia!
